Psychology
A spirit-path dream can be read as the feeling of being carried by a current larger than your own will. When moves, job changes and new faces pile up, the mind may picture itself standing on a path it cannot stop.
Folklore and history
A "spirit path" is a line along which ghosts are said to pass through a house or land. Older Japanese customs share the idea: people respected the unlucky northeast direction and placed wayside guardian deities at village borders to keep unseen things out.

It cools your neck directly and instantly, giving a stronger sense of cool than a fan-blade handheld fan, and suits long outdoor location shoots.

This site's view
In this site's view, watch the direction of the flow. If things simply pass beside you, you are letting change go by calmly. If they pass through your body, you may be absorbing too many other people's feelings and demands. Standing on a path is not bad; you only need to step half a pace aside.
Going deeper: our reading
The term spirit path comes from the world of psychic lore and is not an established fact. Still, homes have always had routes where people, things and wind pass often, and traditions such as house geomancy have long paid attention to direction and layout. In this site's reading, a spirit path dream reflects a sense of having routes through your life that you never chose: a hallway the family always uses, a desk where colleagues pass. Standing in the middle of the path suggests fatigue from absorbing every change around you. Stepping aside to watch things pass shows you have learned to let the current flow by. This is our speculation, but light at the end of the path may mean you sense today's busyness is heading somewhere. Separating your own space from others' paths lets the heart rest.
What to do on waking
Clear one cluttered spot where people and things always pass in your home. Opening a path often loosens the mind too.
