This site's view

In this site's view, did you dig it up or was it already there? Digging means talent blooming through effort; treasure already before you means you overlook what you have. Fear of theft suggests you guard your achievements too tightly.

Going deeper: our reading

Japanese folk tales often tell of foxes or tanuki turning leaves into gold coins to trick people, leaving only leaves in their hands by morning. It resembles the wistful feeling of waking from a treasure dream. In this site's reading, what you did with the treasure reveals your values now. Hiding it suggests wariness of others learning of your talents, and fear of losing them. Sharing it with family or friends shows room in your heart to celebrate with others. Treasure turning into leaves or stones may signal that part of you doubts an offer that seems too good. Treasure too heavy to carry may mean you bear the weight of expectation alone. This is our speculation, but when you are unsure your efforts will pay off, treasure dreams may be a way of testing what is real. Counting what you have fills the heart more.
