Psychology
Dreaming of Thursday reflects hope for growth and a sense of inner ease. As results start to show late in the week, the dream may carry an unhurried, hopeful view of the future.
Folklore and history
Thursday is Jupiter's day. The largest planet bears the name of the king of the gods and in astrology brings growth and fortune. The English name comes from the Norse thunder god Thor, and in the Five Phases wood means upward, branching growth.
The unscented version of the classic lubricant and rust-preventive spray "5-56." Spray it on a rusted hinge, lock, shutter, or gate in a ruin before opening it, and it moves more smoothly with less loud creaking or sticking.

This site's view
In this site's view, notice what was growing. Plants, children or work thriving mean past efforts are ripening; growth beyond control hints you should prune plans. A tree grows only with roots, so expand without forgetting your footing.
Going deeper: our reading
In the United States, Thanksgiving, a holiday of gratitude for the harvest, falls on the fourth Thursday of November, when families gather around the table. Jupiter, the planet behind Thursday's Japanese name, has a giant storm called the Great Red Spot, large enough to swallow Earth, which has been observed for centuries. Things that grow large carry great storms inside them. In this site's reading, people who dream of Thursday often see things expanding smoothly while secretly worrying whether they can keep enough inner room to match. Sharing a meal with many people suggests that sharing your harvest will open further luck. Watching a vast whirl or storm from afar shows your heart trying to absorb the busyness and turbulence that come with growth. This is our speculation, but if you do not fear growing and keep your gratitude, even the storm may become strength.
What to do on waking
Do one nurturing thing, like watering a plant or noting a future goal, and drop one overextended plan.
