[Episode 20] Famitech (Part 2) — The Door That Knocks Back. A Spirit Box That Won’t Stop. A Dangerous Experiment Awaits Its Result. #Japanese horror
Watch on YouTube ↗Part 2 of Episode 20. The crew attempts to contact spirits with electronic devices at Hotel Famitech.
A device called a spirit box scans radio frequencies at high speed and keeps picking up fragments of audio. By its principle, sounds that seem like meaningful words get mixed in. KARASU CHANNEL also does verification with this kind of device, but we do not treat its output as spirit speech without further evidence.
In this part, a phenomenon of knocks being answered with the same number of sounds and a scene of the spirit box refusing to stop are recorded. It is entertainment with staged elements and we do not guarantee its accuracy. It is private property and entry is prohibited.
What to Watch For
This part uses a spirit box, which scans radio frequencies at high speed and keeps picking up fragments of audio, so sounds that seem like meaningful words get mixed in. A phenomenon of knocks answered by the same number of sounds is also recorded. As you watch, keep in mind that the building’s structure may echo sounds.
Our Take
With a ruin of little information, viewers fill in a story themselves: the day someone closed the door for the last time, luggage left in the rooms, dust on the lobby. Those details of imagination are not records but stories made in the viewer’s head. This is speculation, but when scarce information and a huge building overlap, people project their own anxieties onto it. It may be less a ghost story than a vague anxiety about the “large vessels no longer in use” that modern cities hold. We draw the line between fact and imagination carefully, and ask that you stay with the record and avoid entering the site.
