Psychology
A class representative dream reflects duties handed to you and the pressure to "do it right". Calling orders no one follows shows fear of failing or a gap with others; volunteering yourself reveals a wish to be valued and useful.
Folklore and history
Class representative is often one's first taste of speaking for everyone. Dream lore reads being given a role as growing trust, while being crushed by it warns of overwork.
Getting to a haunted spot often means unpaved mountain roads or gravel, where low tire pressure easily leads to a flat or worse fuel economy. Checking your tires with a gauge before you set out reduces the risk on rough roads.

This site's view
In this site's view, read the room's response to your call. Everyone rising means your words carry weight; everyone silent and staring suggests you have left your true feelings behind in trying to meet expectations.
Going deeper: our reading
Some class representatives raise their own hands; others are nominated or voted in and find the job is suddenly theirs. Calling out stand, bow, caught between teacher and class, can stay vivid into adulthood. In this site's reading, how you got the role is the clue. Having it forced on you points to the weight of a duty at work or home you could not refuse. Losing an election and feeling bitter shows a still unhealed wish to be recognised. If your adult self was the representative of a classroom full of strangers, you may feel tense at being expected to lead in a new setting already. This is our speculation, but those who dream this repeatedly may be people called the reliable one since childhood, now too used to being depended on. Sometimes it is fine to stand at the back of the line.
What to do on waking

Turning a bad dream
In Japan, people once tried to turn a worrying dream for the better: a baku charm under the pillow, telling the dream to a nandina bush, or reciting an old dream-turning poem. Read the column on dream trading and dream-turning
