Things moving fast; a traffic jam means frustration at delay.

Psychology
A highway dream reflects life moving fast. Smooth driving means progress; a jam means frustration; missing every exit suggests you cannot escape busyness. Who held the wheel matters too.
Folklore and history
Tokyo's Shuto Expressway is known for being rushed into shape for the 1964 Olympics. The highway, a symbol of speed, has bred modern legends like an old woman running beside cars, heirs to the mountain-pass ghost tales of old roads.
Being able to grab a flashlight or phone instantly matters when exploring a ruin or mountain trail. A 2-way waist bag you can also wear across the body frees both hands, making it easier to move and film in tight spaces.

This site's view
In this site's view, ask whether anyone rode with you. Speeding alone means rushing ahead without help; a passenger means you wonder if you move at the same pace. An empty highway at night suggests loneliness hidden in speed.
Going deeper: our reading
A highway has no traffic lights or junctions; once on, you keep going until the next exit. That is why on long drives frequent breaks at rest areas are said to matter. In this site's reading, whether you stopped at a rest area shows how you are resting now. Stopping to enjoy a meal or the view suggests you manage to take breaks well amid busy days. If rest-area signs kept flashing past and you never stopped, you may know you should rest yet not allow yourself to pause. This is our speculation, but watching traffic flowing the opposite way may reflect anxiety about heading in a different direction from others, or longing for those who chose another road. Being unable to find your wallet at a tollgate suggests concern about the preparation or price of moving ahead.
