Psychology
The pig can mean abundance, but also greed or laziness you would rather not admit — a Jungian shadow of appetite or possessiveness. Whether you liked or disliked it shows how you face your desires.
Folklore and history
In Germany the pig is a lucky animal, given as New Year figurines and sweets; piggy banks are loved worldwide. In the Chinese zodiac the last sign is the pig, while Japan uses the wild boar. Pigs signal money luck.
A natural-rubber door stopper you wedge into the gap between a door and the floor — a practical safeguard against one of the most feared scenarios in ruin exploration: the door you came through swinging shut on its own from wind or a tilted building, trapping you inside.

This site's view
In this site's view, fat or thin? A plump pig means efforts are becoming savings; a thin one asks if you are over-stretching; one wallowing happily in mud says you need to relax without caring what others think.
Going deeper: our reading
Pigs are often thought dirty or lazy, yet they are said to keep their sleeping area apart from where they relieve themselves. Wallowing in mud is a way to cool a body that sweats little and to fend off insects. Their keen noses have long been used in Europe to find truffles hidden underground. In this site's reading, pig dreams can show two things: a self that is misunderstood, and value no one has found yet. Seeing a pig mocked or chased away may reflect loneliness at not being seen for who you are. A pig digging eagerly suggests you are sniffing out something good that others have missed. There is the saying about pearls before swine. This is our speculation, but giving something to a pig may show a wish for someone who will truly receive what you treasure.
