Psychology
White signals purity and new beginnings. An unusual white monkey may show a calmer, higher view of your life awakening.
Folklore and history
In Japan monkeys can be messengers of mountain gods, and the word for monkey echoes 'evil departs'. Rare white animals were long seen as good omens.

This site's view
In this site's view, did it give you something or only watch? A gift means a lost chance returning; a silent gaze means something watches over your doubts — a little eerie, a little warm.
Going deeper: our reading
Many people who dream of a white monkey are said to wake with a strange lightness, as if something had left them. This is our speculation, but that may be because a long-held wish for someone to take away a worry has finally taken shape in the dream. In this site's reading, where the white monkey appeared shows where that wish is directed. Meeting it deep in the mountains suggests you want protection from something greater than your own strength can reach. Seeing it near your home or on a familiar road suggests help lies not far away but right beside your daily life. A white monkey alone may mean you have made a choice unlike those around you and feel a little uneasy. On waking, write down one thing you want gone and quietly let it go.

Haunted spots are often deep in the mountains or in ruins far from any restroom or changing room. A pop-up privacy tent can screen a portable toilet or serve as a changing space in the rain, giving peace of mind on a shoot with a female companion.
