Psychology
Wisteria droops gracefully yet grips hard. It reads as the line between tenderness and clinging; standing beneath a trellis, a wish for shelter.

This site's view
In this site's view, could you reach the clusters? Touching them: the gap to someone admired is closing. Out of reach: your ideal may be set too high. Vines choking a tree: check that your love is not binding someone.
Going deeper: our reading
Different species of wisteria are known to twine in opposite directions, and in the wild they climb high by winding around other trees. In gardens and parks they are trained over trellises, and beneath the hanging clusters lies a pleasant shade that softens early summer sun. In this site's reading, the dream reflects whether you are the one who covers others or the one who shelters them. Relaxing under a wisteria trellis while gazing up at the clusters suggests you feel safe under someone's support. If the sweet scent stayed with you, you want to savour your present bonds fully. This is our speculation, but building a trellis or guiding vines onto it shows you have the skill to shape energetic people or projects into something useful. A vine strangling another tree may reveal worry that well-meant involvement is hurting someone.
