In KARASU CHANNEL investigations, a place explored by a group is walked again by one person. With fewer people, footsteps and chatter vanish, making the building’s own sounds easier to hear. A large abandoned hotel, with many rooms and long corridors, is where this method works best.

Our Take

A hotel is a space where people spend the night and laugh together. That space becomes darkness with nobody in it. This is speculation, but the real foundation of the “it appears” rumors may lie not in supernatural events but in this reversal. People feel strong loneliness and unease when something built for enjoyment decays after losing its people. The ghost-story session recorded here can also be seen as an attempt to put that feeling into words.
