Psychology
A Keichitsu dream suggests that interests you had put to sleep are returning to the surface. After a stagnant period we often feel an unexplained restlessness, and the dream shows it as insects crawling out of the soil.
Folklore and history
Keichitsu, around March 6, is when hibernating insects emerge. Spring thunder at this time is called mushidashi no kaminari, the thunder that calls insects out, believed to wake sleeping creatures. People gave names to movements they could not see underground.
A window net that fits over the car window, letting air in while keeping insects and prying eyes out. It lets you leave the window open without bugs getting in during a late-night car stay or stakeout, and also makes the interior harder to see from outside — good for security and privacy while parked or napping near a haunted spot for a long time.

This site's view
In this site's view, ask what emerged. Small insects or sprouts mean an abandoned hobby asks for a small restart; a frightening swarm may be suppressed frustrations or postponed tasks all moving at once. Both survived underground to come out.
Going deeper: our reading
Around Keichitsu, gardens and castles across Japan hold komo-hazushi, removing the straw wraps tied around pine trunks in winter. The wraps were traditionally meant to gather insects so they could be burned. So this season also marks the moment you take off a covering worn to survive the cold. In this site's reading, a Keichitsu dream is as much about removing coverings as about insects emerging. Taking off a heavy coat suggests it is time to loosen the caution you wrapped yourself in. Lifting a heavy lid or board points to letting out feelings you had shut away. This is our speculation, but if it was you who poked out of the soil, a part of you that long avoided being seen may finally be seeking daylight. Newly woken insects move clumsily; a heart starting again can be forgiven for stumbling at first.
What to do on waking
Take out one tool or notebook you had put away and use it for five minutes. It gives your waking interest a way out.
