A time of patient waiting; the rain stopping means stagnation ends.

Psychology
A rainy-season dream can reflect stagnation or a time when you must wait. Sinking under endless rain may reflect how pressure and humidity shake mood and health; rain stopping suggests stagnation ending and your mood clearing.
Folklore and history
The name tsuyu, 'plum rain', is said to come from its falling as plums ripen. Children hang teru-teru bozu dolls from the eaves to wish for sunshine. Long rains also nourish newly planted rice. Rain clearing is read as recovering luck, and the rain itself as a time when effort quietly grows.
A natural-rubber door stopper you wedge into the gap between a door and the floor — a practical safeguard against one of the most feared scenarios in ruin exploration: the door you came through swinging shut on its own from wind or a tilted building, trapping you inside.

This site's view
In this site's view, meaning depends on how you heard the rain. Listening calmly by the window means waiting has become your ally; getting soaked without an umbrella means stagnation is tossing you about unprepared. Hydrangeas deepening in the rain may symbolise strength that grows in hard times.
Going deeper: our reading
The rainy season brings small daily discomforts: laundry that will not dry, damp shoes, heavy air indoors. Each is trivial, yet together they cloud your mood. In this site's reading, someone dreaming of the rainy season may be carrying minor grievances not worth voicing, and what was wet in the dream is the clue. Soaked laundry left hanging suggests the futility of tasks that keep returning to square one. Only your shoes being wet points to feeling weighed down before you even set out. Sheltering under the same eaves as someone else hints that others share your sense of being stuck. This is our speculation, but walking calmly through the rain without an umbrella may mean your mind has decided to stop minding the gloom. Snails come out on rainy days; you too may have strengths that move best in this very season.
What to do on waking
Rather than forcing stalled things, spend today on tidying or reading. If headaches or fatigue persist, see a doctor.
